There are plenty of reasons it makes sense. Maybe you hate to write, or you think you can't write, or it's not your job to write. Maybe you love to write but just can't find the time for it. Maybe you have a decent draft, but it needs a little spit and polish.

I'll make it easy for you. I have worked as a full-time freelance writer since 1988, long enough for even my parents to acknowledge it as a legitimate job. Over the years, clients have contracted me to produce everything from features for major travel magazines to "coffee table" company histories and annual reports for major corporations. Whatever you need written, I'm eager to tackle. Really. In college, I even liked blue-book exams.

While I mostly focus on business communications and magazine features, I've avoided pigeon-holing myself into any particular specialty. I believe good writing is good writing, and that translates across genres—whether it be pithy packaging copy for Fiskars, website text for a slick urban planning firm, or a guidebook for the National Geographic Society. My writing is clear, concise, grammatically correct and tailored to fit your audience.
